Appointments in the Consular Corps of Monaco in Miami (August, 2009)

By Sovereign Ordinance dated August 20, 2009, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco appointed Mrs. Michele Kessler and Mr. Tomas Abreu respectively as Honorary Consul and Vice-consul of Monaco in Miami.

Mrs. Kessler is the Director of community relations at Kessler Financial Services and is the co-founder of the Kessler Family Foundation. Together with her husband Howard Kessler, she is an active philanthropist in Palm Beach County, Florida, supporting a wide range of causes, including the Ireland Fund and the American Red Cross.

Mr. Tomas J. Abreu holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Caracas, Venezuela and a MBA from the University of Oklahoma. After starting his career in Venezuela in the food industry and in banking, he moved to Florida in 1986 where he has been involved consecutively in banking, trading, and the hotel industry.

The Embassy of Monaco in the United States is pleased to count Mrs. Kessler and Mr. Abreu among the Members of its Consular Corps and warmly welcomes them in the Consular team.
