The Consular Corps of Monaco meets in Washington and attends the elegant reception of the Embassy (July, 2009)

The annual Consular Meeting was held, on July 9, 2009, at the Chancery, with the presence of the Honorable Maguy Maccario-Doyle, Consul General of Monaco in New York, together with Mrs. Paula Escher, Mr. John Drew, Mr. John F. Davis III, and Mr. Albert Manzone, respectively Honorary Consuls of Monaco in San Francisco, Boston, Dallas and Chicago. Also, Mrs. Claire Koeneman, Honorary Vice-consul-designate of Monaco in Chicago, as well as Mrs. Michele Kessler and Mr. Tomas Abreu, Honorary Consul-designate and Vice-consul-designate of Monaco in Miami were in attendance. Mr. Michel Bouquier, Chief Tourism Representative, came especially from Monaco in order to make a detailed presentation of the facts and trends of the tourism sector in the Principality.

In the evening, the annual Reception was held on the occasion of the 4th Anniversary of the Accession to the Throne of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco at the Willard Intercontinental Washington Hotel, with the presence of some important personalities representing the White House, the Congress, the State Department, the Diplomatic Corps, the City Hall, the World Bank, the IMF, etc. Members of the American branch of His Serene Highness’s Family were also in attendance
