Appointment in the Consular Corps of Monaco in Atlanta (June 2010)
Mr. Charles H. BATTLE, Jr., the newly named first Honorary Consul of Monaco in Atlanta, Georgia, has been appointed by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco in a Sovereign Ordinance dated June 22, 2010.
Mr. Battle is Of Counsel for the firm of Miller & Martin in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Battle is a board member for Hemisphere, Inc., a nonprofit organization, and is on the Board of Trustees for the Southern Center for International Studies.
Mr. Battle has participated in the organization of the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996. After the completion of the games, Mr. Battle has become a consultant to the I.O.C. and various organizing committees like the one for Sotchi, Russia, which won the bid for the Winter Games of 2014.
He is now a consultant to the Pyeongchang bid, from the Republic of Korea for the Winter Olympic Games of 2018.
