During 20 years as a Naval Aviator, including 13 years with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Captain Eugene A. Cernan left his mark on history with three historic missions in space as the Pilot of Gemini IX, the Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo X, and the Commander of Apollo XVII. NASA Chief Scientist Dr. Ellen R. Stofan
Dr. Ellen Stofan was appointed NASA Chief Scientist on August 25, 2013, serving as principal advisor to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden on the agency's science programs and science-related strategic planning and investments.Prior to her appointment, Stofan was vice president of Proxemy Research in Laytonsville, Md., and honorary professor in the department of Earth sciences at University College London in England. Jean-François Clervoy, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut from France and brigadier general from DGA (Defense procurement agency), was born in Longeville-lès-Metz on November 19th 1958. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris in 1981, from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace, Toulouse in 1983 and from Flight Test School, Istres in 1987. Seconded from the DGA, Clervoy was selected as an astronaut in 1985 by the French space agency CNES and then in 1992 by the European space agency ESA.

He served as a mission specialist twice aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis on mission STS-66 to study the atmosphe, and on mission STS-84 to re-supply the Russian space station Mir, and as a flight engineer aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-103 to repair the Hubble Space Telescope. He has logged 28 days and 3 hours in 439 earth orbits. See more here...

Born in 1939, Sir Jackie was involved with cars from an early age. Leaving school at 15, (his dyslexia undiagnosed until much later), he found his personal voice in sport; first as an Olympic-class shot, then in motor racing. In shooting Sir Jackie won the Coupe De Nations twice (British and Mediterranean Championships).
